Before you start

Three things to have ready.

Node.js 18 or later

Toolport runs through npx on the machine where your client runs.

A token with repo:read

Create one in your issue tracker’s settings. Toolport never asks for write access.

One repository to start

Authorize a single repository first. You can add more at any time.

Rather not run it locally?

Point any client that supports remote MCP servers at the hosted endpoint and sign in once. We run it and keep it updated.
